How I Help First-Time Parents:
1. Premium Childbirth Education
My work with clients often includes Sage Method: Get Birth Ready! private childbirth education. This package of 2x 3hr sessions gives you all the tools and information you need to become calm, confident, and ready to birth the way you want to. Together, we explore techniques to support physiological labour and birth (beginning in pregnancy!). Guided by activities and worksheets, you will uncover tailored answers on your personal priorities, preferences, and needs for your upcoming birthing experience. The sessions ensure you see a clear path to your birth vision being supported and realized. The Sage Method: Get Birth Ready! can be delivered in-person or online. You can also bundle your Sage Method childbirth education with your labour & birth support package!
2. Early Labour Support!
I will be by your side when you decided you want support, even during early labour. For first time birthers, it can be very helpful to have a doula by your side for the whole journey of labour to immediate postpartum. With my care, there is no need to wait for active labour to call for support- I will be there when you want me to be, providing continuous, grounded, knowledgable support to you from early labour onward.
3. A Holistic Approach to Individualized Care
Birth is a life event that it is as unique as you and your baby. Annnnnnd, it belongs to YOU!
-
The Sage Method: Get Birth Ready! childbirth education nurtures your birth physiology with a holistic approach to the psycho-social-emotional aspects of giving birth backed with evidence-based information to empower you and your partner (if applicable) to feel calm and confident for the experience of labour and birth.
-
In labour & birth support, I provide emotional, physical, and informational support to ensure your birth experience respects and reflects your full personhood throughout the entire process.
-
In postpartum care, I listen, respect, and support the birther and their family in the tender time after birth while everyone adjusts to their new roles, routines, and needs.
